Cruises
Key Sailing offers special Kayaking / Eco tours to some of our more secluded areas and waterways on Santa Rosa Island / Pensacola Beach. Once on location your deckhands will unload your kayaks and guide you to areas where you will see many types of water birds, marine life and wildlife on our unique island.
Pensacola and Pensacola Beach has lots of history and many of our more famous sites can be seen from our cruises. Such as Ft Pickens and Ft Barrancas which engaged in war in 1861 when the North attempted to resupply Ft Pickens. Then there is the Pensacola Lighthouse 1857-1858 which during the civil war the South burried the fresnal lens in an
attempt to prevent the North from navigating their ships into Pensacola Bay. The light remained out of operation until 1863 and was then painted white on the bottom and black on top.
